Sunnyside District Alumni Association

The mission of the Sunnyside District Alumni Association, a chapter of the national Dollars for Scholars scholarship award organization, is to promote graduation, lifelong learning and pride in  the Sunnyside District. The Association raises funds for scholarships, and inducts honorees into the Alumni Association Hall of Fame.

The Sunnyside District Alumni Association has established the Hall of Fame to honor individuals or groups who have made notable contributions to the Sunnyside educational system, the community and/or their chosen profession.

The Sunnyside District Alumni Association | Dollars for Scholars Chapter
Since 2004, the Alumni Association has awarded $515,500 in scholarships to 435 graduates of Desert View High School, Sunnyside High School and Star Academic High School.

Any person or group interested in nominating a candidate for the Hall of Fame may contact the Association at 940-1951.
